Emily, I think neither of us had any idea that volunteering to help hurricane victims on a random Tuesday would end up leading to such an already incredible friendship. I mean, I knew as soon as I saw you and what you were doing that I wanted to be friends for life, but I had no good way to express that. Luckily, due to your kindness, you were stuck in an airplane with me for the next few hours.
We didn't know anything about each other's situations (turns out we were both having some hard times lately), but I think we were both just trying to be ourselves and help others. Your effort really spoke volumes to your character (which is way above what I'd expect from someone even my age), and anytime I made you laugh or smile that adorable smile of yours it made me forget about anything else that had been going on in my life.
As that first day was ending, all I could think about was how great it was to meet you and how unfortunate it was that I wouldn't get to see you afterwards. Then, clearly being the more confident person between the two of us, you asked for my info so I could "send you pictures from the day". Genius. I didn't want to keep my hopes up too much, but at this point I was so happy that I couldn't even type properly (thanks for being patient). All I could think about was hoping to do it all again the next day. And then, for some magical reason, you decided to subject yourself to even more flights together, as if you knew what you were doing.
I don't want you to have to read too much and you already know how things went from there, but to summarize: you ended up being so incredible that I would basically jump out of bed after only 3-4 hours of sleeping just to spend more time with you any day I could. I was too interested in being around you to ever feel tired around you anyway.
We've already had so many great memories, and I think we're both on the same page here. I normally would NEVER be rushing into something like this, but it just feels so easy and right with you.
Okay, that's enough reading, scroll down until you reach the end.
